Terms of Service

Last updated: September 7, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and the individual operator of yzdesignai.com, publishing under the brand name “YZ AI / 元筑AI” (“we”, “our” or “us”), and govern your access to and use of the website and its AI-assisted design platform (the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, redeeming an activation code or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Independent, unofficial product. YZ AI / 元筑AI is an independent design tool that operates by licensing third-party AI services. It is not an official product of, and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by, any AI-model developer (such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic or any other company) or any government or standards body. Where we name the model behind a feature — for example in the points guide or the cost tables on the sign-in page — that name identifies the technical backend service we license; it is not a claim that this Service or its operator is an official, affiliated or endorsed offering of that model’s developer. Third-party product and company names remain the property of their respective owners.

These Terms are provided in English and Chinese. If there is any conflict, the English version prevails for users outside mainland China. For users in mainland China, both language versions apply and these Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China as set out in Section 16.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly accept accounts from them. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. The Service

The Service is an AI-assisted design platform for architecture, planning and landscape workflows. It provides a series of stages — site analysis, scheme concept, plan drawing, rendering, and PPT generation — in which you upload site media and design files and use AI tools to analyse, iterate, generate and present design work.

AI outputs are assistance tools, not finished professional deliverables. The Service is under active development and may add, change or remove features over time; we will make reasonable efforts to keep the documentation of features on the website up to date.

3. Your Account

You create an account with an email address (or by signing in with Google). You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate information and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not create accounts for the purpose of circumventing a suspension or misrepresenting your identity to obtain access to the Service.

4. Points and Activation Codes

Paid features of the Service consume points. Points are a limited virtual balance used to measure and bill usage; they have no monetary value outside the Service, cannot be transferred to another person and cannot be exchanged for cash. New accounts start with a zero balance; points are obtained only by redeeming an activation code or another recharge method we offer.

Points can be added by redeeming an activation code that we issue through channels we make available. A code may carry its own validity period or terms shown with the code. You may redeem codes only for your own account. If we detect that a code was obtained through fraud, resold without authorisation, or redeemed in violation of these Terms, we may void the redemption or suspend the related points.

5. Payment, Fees and Refunds

Each paid feature deducts the number of points shown for that feature at the point of use. Today, points are purchased through activation codes issued by us, with the price displayed when you obtain the code. When online payment is enabled on the Service, card payments will be processed by a third-party payment provider (such as Creem) under that provider’s own terms and privacy policy; we do not see or store your full card details.

Activation codes are delivered immediately and, once redeemed, are generally non-refundable, except where required by mandatory law (including consumer-protection law in mainland China) or where we fail to provide the Service you paid for. If a feature fails because of an error on our side and you are charged for it, we will refund the points or the payment, as applicable. When and how refunds are available is set out in more detail in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Any applicable taxes and bank or foreign-currency fees are your responsibility. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory law.

6. Pricing Changes

The points costs of individual features are published in the product (including the in-app points guide) and on the sign-in page. We may update these costs from time to time. Changes apply to usage that happens after the change is published; points you already hold remain usable under the rules that applied when you obtained them, unless we notify you otherwise in advance.

7. Your Content and License to Us

You retain all rights in the design files, photos, text and other content you upload (“Your Content”). To operate the Service we need a limited license: you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to host, store, display to you, and process Your Content — including transmitting it to AI providers to generate outputs you request and creating derivative works (such as analyses, drafts, plans, renderings and reports) that the Service stores for you.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to Your Content, that you have obtained any consents needed (for example, from people depicted in photos or owners of photographed property), and that Your Content does not infringe the rights of any third party. You are responsible for what you upload.

8. Generated Outputs

Outputs produced by the AI features are provided for your use under these Terms. Because they are generated by machine-learning models, we do not warrant that any output is original, unique, accurate or free of resemblance to existing works. You should review outputs, verify them against your source material, and obtain any permissions needed before using them publicly or commercially.

AI output does not constitute professional engineering, architectural, planning or landscape advice or certification. Any use of outputs for real projects remains your responsibility, and you must comply with the regulations that apply where the project is located.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Upload content that infringes copyright, trademarks, patents or other rights of third parties, or that you have no right to share.
  • Distribute malware, viruses or other harmful code, or attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access.
  • Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or circumvent any security, rate-limiting, access-control or technical measure.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the Service beyond what is permitted by law.
  • Use automated means to access, scrape or copy the Service or its content in bulk, or resell access to the Service without our authorisation.
  • Upload personal information about identifiable people (such as recognisable faces or identity documents) without the right to do so.
  • Use the Service to harass, threaten or harm others.

Prohibited content — adult, sexual and harmful material. Because the Service generates images from your prompts, the following are strictly prohibited, whether in a prompt, an uploaded file or a generated output:

  • Any adult, pornographic, sexual or sexually explicit content, including nudity, sexual acts and sexually suggestive material of any kind.
  • Any sexualised depiction of a minor, and any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a minor. We remove such content immediately and report it to the competent authorities where the law requires.
  • Content that depicts, promotes or facilitates violence, terrorism, self-harm, suicide, hate speech or harassment.
  • Face-swap, deepfake or other face-manipulation content, and non-consensual or intimate imagery of any person.
  • Content that infringes third-party rights, or that impersonates any person or organisation.

We apply content filtering to prompts and outputs. We may refuse to process a prompt, block or remove an output, and suspend or terminate your account, where we reasonably believe this section has been breached. The full list of prohibited uses is set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Confidential Projects

When you mark a project as confidential, the free-form AI chat assistant and cloud text generation are disabled for that project so its text content is not sent to cloud text-model providers. Confidential marking is a product-level control you manage per project; it does not override the other terms of this agreement, and you remain responsible for not uploading information that is too sensitive to process with hosted AI services.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, commit fraud, or if your use creates risk to the Service or other users. Where we can, we will give you reasonable notice so you can export content you need.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To close your account and request deletion of your data, please email us (see Section 18); full account deletion and data export are currently completed on request rather than through a self-serve control. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — such as Sections 7, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 — will survive.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your purpose, and the Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control. Mandatory consumer-protection law in mainland China is not excluded by this section.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you actually paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under mainland China law.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities and reasonable expenses arising out of Your Content or your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Platform Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its software, design, user interface, brand names (“YZ AI” and “元筑AI”), logos, documentation and the underlying AI models and pipelines we license — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own design work, subject to these Terms. No other rights are granted.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (mainland), excluding its conflict-of-law rules. We will first try to resolve any dispute informally through the contact details below. If a dispute cannot be resolved, you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent people’s courts at the operator’s place of domicile in mainland China. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date above and, where practical, notify you through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where the law requires your separate consent.

18. Contact
